Cruelty Free Easter Baskets

If you know me well it should not be a surprise that I have had my Easter Baskets ready to go for weeks now. This year I decided to make it a cruelty free Easter and I created small compassionate gift baskets for my family and friends. I enjoy showing everyone that it really is easy and affordable to live a Vegan and cruelty free life, even when it comes to candy. Here’s what I came up with this year.

I purchased little berry baskets in pink and blue from Fancy Flours and stuffed each with recycled shredded paper for Easter grass.

Berry Baskets

Inside each basket I have included a dark chocolate candy bar, Annie’s fruit snacks, a dark chocolate bunny and Vegan jelly beans. Additionally, for each lady recipient I also included cruelty free lip balm and hand lotion.

These are simple, inexpensive and best of all, compassionate Easter baskets.

Jelly Beans!

This year Morgan is heading to Florida to spend time with her parents over the Easter weekend while my husband and I are sticking around Chicago to have a nice Sunday Brunch with the Bradley side of the family. Sure enough we are heading to a new Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten Free friendly restaurant that I will be sure to post about soon after.

Who are you sharing your Easter holiday with this year?
